the 2010 census data. This review, which is done every five years, will utilize the 2015 American Community Survey (ACS) data.

Based on the 2015 ACS data and rural area guidance located in Handbook HB-1-3550, Chapter 5, the rural eligibility designation is under review for the following areas:

Maryland
Calvert County - Lusby Area
Carroll County - Westminster City Area
Cecil County - Elkton Area
Dorchester County - Cambridge Area
Frederick County - Urbana & Frederick City Areas
Harford County - Aberdeen Area
Montgomery County - Clarksburg Area
St. Mary's County - Lexington Park Area
Talbot County - Easton Area
Washington County - Hagerstown/Halfway Area
Worcester County - Ocean Pines Area

CLICK HERE for a detailed description of each area under review.
